About Us

The Sierra Leone Airports Authority was established to transform Freetown International Airport (FNA) to a regional and international hub, to facilitate the transshipment of Cargo and passengers thereby rendering Freetown International Airport an attractive destination of choice for all passengers worldwide. We work closely with other government agencies and departments, most notably the Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority (SLCAA), responsible for air navigation regulation

Mission

To Provide a safe user friendly and effective Airport System; Operate a sustainable Airport with minimal impairment to the environment; and to maintain Airport facilities to international standards by utilizing optimum human and material resources; and provide services to the community within the framework of national development objectives.

Meet The Administration

Jack Massaquoi

General Manager

He plans, coordinates, directs, and manages all activities associated with the operations and related economic development activities at the Freetown International Airport.

Bobson Kargbo

Deputy General Manager

He assist the General Manager to plan, develop, implement and oversee SLAA initiatives and projects. He assist to review performance results to target and take corrective measures .

Tommy Magao

Head of Administration

Codified office structures and processes to promote teamwork and performance. He interpret Management directives to define and document administrative processes.

Lawrence Conteh

Head Of Operations

He assess, evaluate, coordinate and oversee the daily operations at the Freetown International Airport. He is also a principal adviser on safety and security issues to Management.

Bryan Shyllon

Head 0f Finance

He collaborate with Management to prepare the annual capital and operating budgets. He also implement cost and internal control measures to safeguard resources of the Institution.

David Roy Macauley

Chief Internal Auditor

He facilitates financial and operational audits. He also identify audit risks, and coordinate with management and audit team in preparing related reports for the attention of the Board of Directors.

Suleiman Gassama

Head of Corporate and Commercia

He develops commercial strategies according to company goals to accelerate growth. He also conducts market research to create business plans on commercial opportunities.

Miatta Humper

Corporate / Company Secretary

She ensure that staff are in compliant with the Company law. She also ensure to maintain the statutory registers of the Organization, and act as a second signatory on corporate documents.
